The location was fantastic. Right opposite the lake and in the old quarter. Walking distance to everything. Housekeeping were great - the rooms very clean. Bed comfortable and pillows were just OK. Breakfast was very good although you couldn’t ask for anything different, eg even some baked beans, which were easy to heart up. The staff were a little too attentive when collecting dishes as they collected before we had finished eating. We had upgraded to the lake view room which was lovely. The rooms were a little small as nowhere to put two suitcases, but if that is my only criticism then the stay was perfect. Front office staff were very helpful and concierge staff too. Concierge staff need a little training on tours as when we asked a young girl she had no idea what to recommend except the jeep tour. I imagine you receive commission for booking the tours so she could have been more helpful and let’s face it people are there to see Hanoi.

The hotel's ambiance is elegant, with a touch of artistry that adds to its charm. What truly made my stay exceptional was the outstanding service. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, always going the extra mile to ensure guests feel comfortable. A special mention goes to Mr. Trung, whose warmth and dedication stood out. He was always ready to assist with any request, making my stay all the more memorable. If you’re looking for a combination of convenience, comfort, and excellent hospitality, Apricot Hotel is the perfect choice. I’ll definitely return and highly recommend it to others!

We staid in the Apricot for 5 nights (Junior Suite). The room was spacious and quiet. Good bed, modern bathroom. The staff was always friendly, cheerful and helpful. They helped us organize two private tours in the area. The breakfast buffet was very nice and offered many options of food. The location is excellent - right in the middle of the old town with Lake Hoan Kiem in immediate proximity. There is a selection of good restaurants nearby, whereby the food of the hotel restaurant is also very nice. We would book the Apricot again anytime.

Absolutely in the Best Best Location! Over looking the lake. Hotel lobby is absolutely stunning, Beautifully presented Hotel. Beautiful music each night in the lobby, you can sit and have a cocktail and soak up up the atmosphere. Staff all very nice. We stayed 2 nights, then checked out as we were heading to Halong Bay on an overnight stay. The Hotel kindly offered to keep our luggage. Rooms are very nice, we had a view over looking the Lake. Beautiful bathroom and BIG shower!

We got upgraded to a room with a lake view, so that was a good start! Excellent location. Very comfortable bed and facilities. The staff at the concierge was very friendly and helpful. The freshly made Vietnamese coffee served at breakfast was one of the best we have tasted in Vietnam!
